Creamy Apple Chicken Skillet

Cool weather is beginning, and there’s nothing that tastes like fall quite like apples! This is easy, delicious, and great for you!


One package organic chicken thighs (5-6 pieces)

2 apples, sliced

1 onion, sliced

1/2 cup milk

1 tbsp chopped rosemary

1 tbsp chopped sage

1 tbsp EVOO or coconut oil

1/2 tsp salt and pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tbsp dijon mustard

Start with half of your oil in the skillet, and after putting the salt and pepper on the chicken, put those bad boys in the pan (on medium heat) and cook them for 4-5 minutes per side.

Remove them from the pan and add the rest of the oil.

Add the onions to the pan and cook 3-4 minutes, and then add the apples for another 3-4 minutes.

Turn the pan down to low heat, and add the milk, herbs and mustard.

Cook for 2-3 minutes until it has thickened, then add the chicken back in for another 2-3 minutes. Dinner is served! Great with a salad, or like I had mine, over broccoli rice!
